WheelWax has an antistatic element that changes the surface
polarity of the wheels to repel brake dust particles. Research
has shown that brake dust is a negative particle. The surface of
the wheel has been shown to pick up a positive charge from wind
rushing
over the surface of the wheel. The antistatic element in the wax
keeps the wheel surface charged negatively. Any time you have
positive and negative elements, you have a magnetic effect.
That's why brake dust sticks to your wheels. When you have like
charged elements you have the opposite effect. WheelWax stops
brake dust from sticking to your wheels. If you only use
WheelWax to clean your wheels, you will notice your wheels stay
cleaner, longer over time.
WheelWax can be used on any metal appearance pieces which
includes chrome, aluminum, and stainless steel. Shining your
trim is easier because any WheelWax that you get on your paint
doesn't leave a greasy spot. It is a wax that you just let dry
and wipe off when you buff your trim.
WheelWax contains 30 % carnuba wax and has coconut oil and aroma
for a pleasant scent.
